The Indian Development Fellowship
The Indian Development Fellowship is a month long engagement designed to build a holistic understanding of the social landscape of India and an acute understanding of the Indian Development Sector, so as to equip the candidates with the necessary skills to kickstart their journey in policymaking.
Curated by The Collective Consciousness, The Indian Development Fellowship provides the fellows with a unique opportunity to interact with the leading minds in the policy landscape and build the necessary critical thinking to design their own solutions to various development sector problems.
Awareness & Advocacy
Developing a multi-sectoral understanding of key issues helps formulate a holistic understanding of the problem at hand. The fellows will leverage their learnings during the fellowship and curate an advocacy campaign by reaching out to key stakeholders and interacting with leaders in the space.
Leveraging the target community and involving them in decision making ensures the success of an intervention at scale. By providing access to various stakeholders, The Fellowship will ensure complete synergy between the young change makers and their target stakeholders.
Research Based Policy Formulation
Policymaking, which is grounded in multi-sectoral research, is an important aspect of modern governance. The fellows will learn how to analySe a problem from various perspectives and develop holistic solutions through well researched and documented policy briefs.
Cohort-Based Support Structure
The IDF aims to develop an ever-growing network of change-makers who are learning, exploring and helping one another in their pursuit of change. Every year, fellows who graduate from the fellowship, will be enrolled into this exclusive network which will function as a safe ecosystem for fellows to ideate and leverage one another’s talents and networks to develop lasting solutions and grow in their respective careers.
