Karun Gopinath is a recent graduate in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute, Geneva. He is a recipient of the IHEID full institutional scholarship. Since his return to India, he has established The Collective Consciousness; an early stage nonprofit addressing various systemic challenges and leveraging technology to advance basic human rights. He previously led a comprehensive school transformation program working with more than 37 schools and 7,200 children in Bangalore. Karun also leads Program Design and Strategic Partnerships at Citizens for Leadership, a nonpartisan, youth leadership public policy Fellowship. As a consultant to Texas-based JMJ Associates, Karun has delivered behaviour-based, safety transformation programs for large oil and gas projects in the Middle East.
Karun is a Masters in Political Science from the Masters Christian College, a PG-Diploma in Journalism from the Asian College of Journalism and a holds a Bachelors in Commerce from St.Joseph's College of Commerce.
Malavika Nair, a graduate from the University of Oxford, aspires to disrupt menstrual health challenges for 200 million women and girls in India. As Programme Director and the Project Lead of Devi, she leverages her clinical and science background to drive social change in India’s developmental issues. Malavika sources her keen interest in advancing child’s rights, from her experience as a facilitator working with government school children in Bangalore, India. She’s a classically trained Bharatnatyam dancer for almost two decades having performed across the world. At Oxford, she studied Clinical Embryology and holds a BSc. Biotechnology from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore.

Sunad graduated with a B.E in Computer Science from BMS Institute of Technology. He’s the cofounder of Opencube Labs, a space research startup, a Policy in Action Fellow with YLAC and a Policy Fellow with Citizens for Public Leadership. Sunad loves to travel and explore different cultures and their respective contra cultures, primarily through food and nuanced stories.
Namita KN has graduated with a B.A in economics from Christ University and an M.A in public policy from Mount Carmel College. She was a Research Assistant at FKCCI for a brief period where she further honed her research skills. At The Collective Consciousness, she wishes to leverage her experience in policy research and advocacy to drive sustainable development in India. Namita has been accepted the University College London, United Kingdom, for the MSc. in Environment and Sustainable Development for the academic year 2021-22. A voracious reader, she is also an avid environmentalist and tree hugger.
Sangeetha is a Project Lead at Collective Consciousness, responsible for the development of the overall operational modalities of BridgEd. A data science masters graduate from Cardiff University with an eager to work for an innovative organisation with honourable core values, where I can affect positive change in the lives of others and the community at large. When she’s not I love to dance and I am always open for a battle.
